Ivana Lukić, known by her stage name JYMENIK, is an R&B singer-songwriter based in Belgrade, Serbia. Born in London in 1999 to a Serbian family, she moved to Serbia at the age of four, where she began her musical education. Starting with the piano at five, she quickly delved into writing her own music. By the age of 18, she moved back to the UK to study composition.JYMENIK’s music blends pop, R&B, electronic, and emotionally charged lyrics. Her debut EP, featuring tracks like "Veruj mi na reč" and "Zbog nas," quickly captured the audience’s attention. Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences, she crafts songs that explore themes of love, loss, and self-reflection.She started her journey in the music industry with her first live performance in university and has since collaborated with her producer, Luis, to bring her vision to life. Known for her authenticity, she views JYMENIK as an alter ego—a way to distance herself from her vulnerability while expressing her artistic vision.A pivotal moment in her career was the premiere of her music on BBC Introducing, marking a significant step in her musical journey.
